Shake, Rattle & Roll Sock Hop on way to Avi
Live like a teenager again at the Avi where they will be presenting their Shake, Rattle & Roll Sock Hop in the Grand Ballroom on Saturday, January 21 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Featured entertainment will be The Band: “Shake, Rattle & Roll” performing all your dancing favorites. Dueling Pianos Back at Aquarius’ Splash Cabaret
Back by popular demand, Aquarius Casino Resort will showcase “Dueling Pianos” in Splash Cabaret for an extended weekend of engagements. Pianists and talented singers, Susan Erwin and Lucky Lee Handler will play a selection of well-known songs, primarily of the audience’s choosing. Performance dates are scheduled for January 20-21, 27-28, February 3-4, and February 10-11. All shows are 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and the good news, absolutely FREE! Wide Variety of Entertainment Headed to the Riverside Resort
The world-famous Kingston Trio will be appearing inside Don Laughlin’s Celebrity Theatre January 17-22 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $32 with a $5 discount going to locals. One of the oldies top musical groups The Vogues, still a favorite for their unique harmony will star in the theatre January 24-29 with tickets available at $32 and $5 off for local residents. “Forever 29 Senior Slot Tournaments” in Play at the Belle and Edgewater
Throughout January, every Monday, the Colorado Belle and Edgewater are hosting their “Forever 29 Senior Slot Tournaments.” This event is free for members of the ACCESS Players Club who are 50 years of age and older. Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort continues their “$2012 Cash Giveaway” through January 26, 2012 for members of the King of Clubs Player’s Club. Drawings for the promotion are held every Monday through Thursday at 5 p.m. in the South Tower Promotions Area. Four winners at each drawing will take home $2012 in cash. One entry ticket will be given for every 100 points earned on a single rate on reel, video poker and keno machines and one ticket will be given for every two hours of tracked table game play. New club members will also get a drawing ticket.

The E Center Features Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons and Smokey Robinson

“Scavenger Hunt” and $10,000 Blackjack Tournament at Tropicana
A couple of good promotions are at the Tropicana for members of their Trop Advantage club. Through January 31, table players are invited to participate in “Scavenger Hunt” and receive prizes when they hit qualifying hands at 3-Card Pair Plus; Let it Ride; craps and blackjack. River Palms Continues with January Promotions
Trop Advantage Club members playing at the River Palms this month can win some big money on selected days. Every Tuesday in January from noon to 9:30 p.m., the resort’s $1,000 Balloon Pop Hot Seat Giveaway will select one lucky person to win up to $500 in free play every 30 minutes by simply having your card inserted while playing your favorite slot machine. Mark Twain’s will feature an all American BBQ and Mexican cuisine will be featured from Tortillas. On Friday, the 3rd annual “Taste of Laughlin” festival is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. Food and beverages are available for purchase.
